The joint SRI Consultation and Knowledge Exchange Workshop between SRI Indonesia and SRI Philippines was successfully organized by Southeast Asia SRI Regional Network (SEASRI). This activity took place in Desa Pagersari, Kecamatan Pagerageung, Kabupaten Tasikmalaya, and Kecamatan Ciwidey, Kabupaten Bandung, West Java, on 27–30 November 2025.
The program included biofertilizer production, rice marketing exchange, and discussions on practical strategies for managing pests, diseases, and water. SRI farmers and representatives from the Philippine Department of Agriculture learned directly from the successful experiences of Indonesian SRI farmers. This visit was part of the SRI farmers’ exchange program from the Philippines to Indonesia, facilitated by SEASRI in collaboration with the Rice Watch Action Network and funded by the Philippine government. This initiative supports several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including Zero Hunger (SDG 2), Quality Education (SDG 4), and Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG 12).
